Entrance therein is gained only by those members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints worthy to hold a temple recommend. Therein are families sealed together for time and for eternity. Therein is a saving labor performed for beloved.ancestors, those who passed from this life without hearing the Gospel, but who would have received it had it been available to them. While the work may be performed for them vicariously, free agency prevails on the other side of the veil; they may accept or reject the labor performed in their behalf. Such labors are ill interpreted by those of profane mind. Indeed, we recall the Lord’s words to Isaiah: “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways…For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9)
